It breaks my heart when I see people not be able to get the help they need and are left suffering alone. I am saddened that this world does not teach us the skills we need to truly be happy or fulfill our souls purpose.

I want you to have the tools and resources to heal. I want to help you understand how your mind, body, and spirit work together to support your highest and best self.

I want you to have the ability to love yourself fully.

So I’ve created this practice. This space. I hold this time for you to discover, create, and be the you that you are destined to be.

Right now I want you to dedicate time to your health and allow yourself the opportunity to heal if you need to.  You can call, email, or schedule a consultation to begin this journey.

It all begins now, there is only now.

If you’re ready for an internal and personal change, I’m the therapist to work with. We all struggle with external situations and life circumstances, but no matter what the situation is, we are an individual dealing with it. The way you process and deal with lifes bumps can greatly alter your journey moving forward. I enjoy working with individuals to process and explore the ways of navigating life, being a witness to that in order to develop ways of existing gracefully through it all.

Searching for the right therapist is the first step toward healing. I am dedicated to meet you where you are with empathy and understanding. As a Sioux City native I am beyond excited to serve my community in this field. I am now taking new clients of all ages to help with life’s challenges. I have a variety of past experiences before landing here. I have worked with teenagers and their families in rural western Iowa counties. I enjoy working with adults, teens, and younger kiddos in all areas of life. I love working out and enjoying its benefits to my own mental health. With that I am also a lifelong learner, in this field there is always something to learn. Although I am here to help my clients grow, they are always helping me grow without knowing it.

Hello! My name is Alesha, and I am passionate about helping my clients confront challenging issues in their lives with acceptance and understanding. I have worked with individuals, couples, and children from diverse backgrounds, addressing various challenges.

I specialize in trauma and relationship challenges. I provide my clients with a deeper understanding of themselves and their lives while teaching them evidence-based strategies to make sustainable changes.

In therapy, I integrate elements of psychoanalysis, mindfulness, and EMDR to provide a transformative healing experience.

With me, you can expect to explore unconscious influences, gain insight into your past experiences, cultivate present-moment awareness, and foster self-compassion. I strive to create an inclusive and empathetic environment where you can openly explore your thoughts and feelings. Together, we will work toward achieving transformation and growth in your life.

I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of South Dakota, and my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wayne State College. I am married and have 2 children. I enjoy reading, watching my favorite TV shows, and being outdoors.
